A Team Approach to Quality Eye Care

Our group of board-certified ophthalmologists and optometrists is one of the few practices in the country that provides comprehensive eye care with a subspecialty team approach. Our main clinic is located on the fourth floor in the East Tower of the Baptist Medical Arts Building, and our Retina Center is located on the fifth floor.

Comprehensive In-House Services

CEEC offers the most advanced technology available to assist in diagnosing and treating ocular disorders and diseases. These include:

Stiles Eyecare Excellence, where our focus is on you

With three convenient Kansas offices, we are pleased to offer the newest and most advanced treatments for two of the most common eye conditions cataracts & glaucoma, as well as other serious eye problems.

We help you see your life brighter and clearer

You will also be happy to know that SEE is widely acknowledged as the area’s premier leader of successful cataract treatment and glaucoma management and treatment.

Cataracts

Cataracts are the number one cause of poor vision in the United States and nearly three million cataract surgeries are performed in the U.S. annually. Cataracts are a clouding of the lens of the eye. This clouding prevents light from passing through the lens to the retina.

Glaucoma

Over three million Americans have glaucoma, but only half of them know they have it. There are very few symptoms when the disease is in its earliest and most treatable stages. That’s why regular screening is so critical. Glaucoma is a leading cause of blindness if left untreated.

Education

SEE is privileged to work in partnership with hundreds of dedicated medical professionals who serve individuals who live and work in Greater Kansas City and the surrounding region. We continually strive to strengthen our relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, physicians and other medical professionals.

Taking Glasses and Contacts Off The Most Wanted List

Going from having great vision to using readers or contacts wasn't going to cut it for John Walsh when it came to shooting out on location or riding helicopters and motorcycles.

Exceptional Care

In 1981, eye surgeon Lawrence Katzen, M.D., founded the Katzen Eye Care & Laser Center with a commitment to provide patients in Palm Beach County with the finest quality eye care available. Since that time, more than 50,000 LASIK and cataract surgery and general ophthalmology patients have had their vision surgically improved at the center.
