How to contact MyChildrens?

For help with the portal, you can fill out our support form at mychildrens.org/help or call the MyChildren’s Support Team at 617-919-4396 Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

When can parents access their child's information?

Parents will no longer have access to their child’s information once the patient turns 18. The patient cannot grant access to a parent to restore access. My child with special needs is over the age of 18.

What is a mychild?

MyChildren’s is a convenient, easy-to-use, and secure way to access your child’s health information. Using MyChildren’s, you can: view portions of your child’s health record. send secure messages to your care team. view and update your contact information. view and pay your bills online.

When are clinical notes available?

Clinical notes are available as soon as your provider completes them. Lab results — including tests done in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings — will display as soon as they are resulted. Diagnostic test reports are available as soon as they are resulted.

Can I set up a MyChildren's account?

Can I set up a MyChildren’s account? Yes, as long as you have guardianship papers on file with Boston Children’s , you can access your child’s information with your MyChildren’s account. If you have the guardianship papers, you can email the PDF documents to mychildrenssupport@childrens.harvard.edu.

I am enrolling for the first time

You can enroll in the patient portal online or through printed forms. We'll provide directions for both.

I am enrolling another child

If you have a patient portal account for one child, you can add additional children to your account. We'll help you get started.

My child is over 18, I need enrollment or access information

We can help you get access to patient portal accounts for patients over the age of 18. There are typically a few situations where this is needed:

Patient & Visitor Information

Your child's portal can be accessed after receiving your email invitation. Please log in through the link provided in the body of the invitation to fully set up the account.

What can I do with the Patient Portal?

Users can connect to the child’s information from Phoenix Children's, and also access the child’s health information from other health institutions that have partnered with FollowMyHealth.

Looking for Immunizations?

Immunizations are no longer available in Phoenix Children’s patient portal at this time. To access immunization information visit the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) webpage. Please note this may not be a complete immunization record due to limitations with reporting to ADHS.

How to register for the Patient Portal

If you or your child has been a patient at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, we’ve reserved an account just for you. All we need is your email address.

How to enroll in MyChildren's?

To enroll in MyChildren’s, ask the Patient Registration staff on an inpatient unit. You can also enroll by calling Children’s Health Information Management at 612-813-6216. Patients under 18 must have their parent/legal guardian request a MyChildren’s account.

What is a mychild?

MyChildren’s is an online resource offered by Children’s Minnesota to give you secure access to parts of your Children’s medical record on your computer or phone.

Signing up for MyCookChildren's

If you do not have an account, setup is easy and can be done at any of your child's doctors' offices, or you can use one of the button options below.

Cook Children's pediatrician offices are offering video visits to help provide the quality pediatric care you expect from Cook Children's. These visits can be done from home on a phone, tablet or computer with a webcam. In preparation for a visit:

Urgent Care

Connect to Cook Children's urgent care team without leaving the comfort of your home. Cook Children's patients with a MyCookChildren's account now can video chat with one of our medical experts for non-urgent medical conditions without visiting the doctor's office.

Specialties

Cook Children's patients with a MyCookChildren's account now can access our Specialty Video Visit service to have a remote visit with their current Cook Children's specialist.

How old do you have to be to access your child's health record?

Access to your child's electronic health record varies by age: Under 14: Parents have full access to the child's MyChart account. Ages 14-18: In order to provide confidentiality for our patients, parents have limited access. Parents can continue to message the care team and see test results.

What is MyChart Colorado?

MyChart offers Children's Colorado patients personalized and secure online access to portions of their medical records. It allows you to securely manage and receive information about your child's health. We encourage parents and patients to sign up for MyChart either over the phone when scheduling an appointment or with a team member during a visit.

Can a parent create a MyChart account?

18 or older: Parents cannot create a MyChart account. The patient may have their own MyChart account. Special needs: If a child has diminished capacity and is unable to make healthcare decisions, an exception can be made that allows parents to retain full access to their child's MyChart account.

Why do virtual visits require a MyChart account?

Virtual visits require a MyChart account because it helps us protect your privacy and ensure that you can access your appointment and appropriate paperwork in a secure way. Go to the Telemedicine page to learn more about telehealth visits.

Is MySeattleChildrens still active?

MySeattleChildrens is no longer active. If you have questions or need help with accessing previous records, please email the MyChart Support Team at MyChart@seattlechildrens.org or call 206-987-4444. MyChart is not for emergencies.
