Choptank Community Health in collaboration with your local county WIC offices provides a WIC Fluoride application program right in your community. A Registered Hygienist is available in the WIC offices at least once monthly, to provide a dental screening and apply Fluoride for the children of parents receiving WIC benefits.
Oral health information is shared with parents, those not yet connected with a dentist will be given recourses to enable them to establish their Dental Home. For more information regarding the WIC Fluoride program contact your local WIC office or Choptank Community Health.
