The CNPA Patient Portal offers you convenient access for your needs – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In September 2020, we launched a new Patient Portal. All of our patients are required to have new access granted to view your child’s records and to access all the resources available.

The Patient Portal is web-based, so most up-to date versions of internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari will be compatible with the portal. Most mobile device operating systems, such as Windows and MAC OS, also are compatible.

How to find MRN in a hospital?

You can get the patient's MRN any of the following ways: The patient's MRN can be found on: discharge documents, clinic notes, the patient's hospital bracelet or a billing statement. Call 866-355-0385 and select Option 1. Call Medical Records at 202-476-5267 and select Option 7.

Can I access Cerner's HealtheLife portal on my phone?

Can I access the portal on my phone or mobile device? Yes. MyChildrensNationalPortal is available for both iOS and Android devices via a browser or mobile App. If the mobile device meets the requirements listed below, users can download Cerner’s HealtheLife app in order to access Children’s patient portal.

What department does SCHIEx report to?

If you were diagnosed with the measles or mumps, we would share your personal health#N#information, as required by law, through SCHIEx to report your diagnosis to the South#N#Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. This helps DHEC work to#N#prevent the spread of the disease to others in you community.

What is a combined patient portal?

Our combined Patient Portal allows patients to electronically access their medical records for both their hospital and physician office encounters at their convenience on any computer, tablet or mobile device that has internet connectivity.

Requesting Medical Records

Individuals have a right to access, inspect and obtain a copy of their Protected Health Information (PHI) for as long as the designated record set is maintained as deemed by law. All requests should be made through the HIM department.

Request for Legal Name Changes

Changes to patient names within the medical record and hospital systems should be made through the HIM department.

Health Information Exchange Access

If you would like to receive a report on which health care providers have accessed your record on the Pediatric Health Network IQ (PHN IQ) electronic health exchange (formerly the Children's IQ Network), please email us.

Faster Results Through Your Patient Portal

Faster Results: Tests and reports are now available as soon as they are finalized. Prior to this, some laboratory results and imaging reports were not available immediately after they were finalized. This change means that you may see test results before your care team is able to review them.
