We are glad to have you as a patient and hope you will enjoy being able to access your imaging reports and schedule an exam quickly and easily online. Currently, only screening mammograms and general x-ray can be scheduled through the portal.
The diagnostic imaging department at Doctors Hospital of Augusta is a regional leader in non-invasive procedures. We provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic and imaging services that help us form accurate diagnoses for our patients.
Our patients have access to an array of diagnostic imaging services, including: Bone densitometry, or dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scans (uses X-rays to measure bone density) Holter monitoring (continuously records the heart's electrical activity for a prolonged time period)
Our dedicated imaging center offers: When traditional imaging is not enough to confirm a diagnosis, your doctor may suggest a minimally invasive endoscopic procedure. Endoscopies can be helpful in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. An endoscope uses a long, thin tube with a camera attached.
The Women's Diagnostic Center is committed to excellence in breast imaging and the early detection of breast cancer. In addition to mammography services, we offer screenings for osteoporosis. Our dedicated imaging center offers:
Computerized tomography (CT) scans (combines multiple X-rays taken from different angles, allowing for a highly detailed view inside the body) Digital mammograms (uses X-ray imaging and computer technology to generate highly detailed images of the breast)
Magnetic resonance imaging, or M RI (uses strong magnetic fields to generate images of bodily structures, tissues and functions) Nuclear medicine (uses a radiotracer with very small amounts of radioactive material and advanced imaging technology to visualize the function and structure of organs)
Upper gastrointestinal (GI) series (uses a contrast agent to visualize the upper GI tract via X-ray) X-rays (uses a small amount of radiation to produce images of bodily structures) More than an imaging procedure may be needed to form a diagnosis.
California Managed Imaging Medical Group (CMI) is your multi-specialty radiology provider.
CMI sends patients a separate bill from the hospital for our radiology services. Our bill looks like this form.
