Patient portal is a secure online website that gives you convenient 24 hour access to your personal health information and medical records, called an electronic health record or EHR –from anywhere with an internet connection. Why is using a patient portal important?
Our portal uses a secure, well-established, third-party software system. All information sent to or from MaineGeneral’s FollowMyHealth ® Patient Portal or stored by MaineGeneral’s FollowMyHealth ® Patient Portal is encrypted in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
