Inclement Weather

Please check local television stations and Washington Regional social media for announcements regarding clinic closures due to inclement weather. Patients should call the clinic before coming in during inclement weather.

In case of an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room.

Prescription Refill

Patients who take prescription medications are advised to adhere to the schedule of lab and office visits recommended by their doctor. Please bring your medications, or a list of them, to your office visit and ask your doctor to write refills for medications at that time.

Medical Records

A medical request signed by the patient is required to send or release records to anyone. If you are requesting a copy of your records, there may be an additional fee.

Financial Requirements

We accept most major insurances. You should have your insurance card available at all appointments. Copays, deductibles and/or co-insurance must be paid at time of service. We accept cash, checks and credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover).

Office visits are by appointment only. Appointments may be scheduled by contacting the clinic at (931) 433-2551. Be prepared to provide:

Canceling appointments

To cancel an appointment, please notify the clinic at least 24 hours in advance. This is an important courtesy to others waiting to schedule an appointment.

Immunizations and injections

Visits for immunizations or injections only do not require a regular appointment with the physician. However, please call us at least one day in advance so we can make sure to have adequate supplies and staff to assist you.

Refills should be requested during regular office visits. Please allow 72 hours for refills to be completed. Your options for refills outside of office visits include:

How long does it take to get a response from FollowMyHealth?

If you need urgent medical assistance, call 911. If you need a response from the office within 24 hours, please call the office. It may take two to three business days to receive a response to any FollowMyHealth communication with the office.

Can you see prescription refills?

You may see medications that have been prescribed by physicians other than a Family Medical Center physician, such as a specialist. Prescription refills can only be requested on medications that have been prescribed by your physician or one of their partners.
