How is my Patient Portal determined?

Your patient portal is determined by where you received care. Primary Care or Urgent Care - patients who have visited an urgent care location or a Floyd family medicine provider (primary care office)​

Does Floyd urgent care have walk in visits?

Our locations throughout northwest Georgia and northeast Alabama ​provide walk-in visits for minor illnesses and injuries, work-related injuries and after-hours health care close to home. Floyd Urgent Care locations are taking extra precautions to ensure safe care for our patients.

How do patients access the myfloyd portal?

Then an email invitation with a secure, unique link to the patient portal will be sent to email address provided. Once receiving the secure link, the patient should follow the instructions provided to create a username and password to access the MyFloyd account. How do I enroll in the patient portal?

To enroll, patients must accept a patient portal invitation sent to their personal email address. If you did not provide an email address during your most recent visit or you can't find your email invitation, call 706.509.3236. To receive an invitation, we will ask a series of ​questions to verify identity.

If I receive a test result that does not make sense to me, what options will I have for reaching my provider or someone who can help explain it to me, especially if it looks to be a scary diagnosis?

Because we release results to you immediately, you may see results before your healthcare provider has seen them. Some results may be difficult to interpret please allow your provider time to review the result and follow up with you. If you have an immediate concern, please contact your provider​.​

Why does Floyd have four different portals?

Floyd uses different electronic medical records to provide patient care. Depending on where you receive your health care, you may need access to more than one portal.
