Get Tested

If you were exposed to COVID-19 or feel sick, curbside and Primary Care testing is available. Curbside hours are from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. (every day).

Have COVID-19 symptoms? Visit Urgent Care or request an appointment with Primary Care. Now offering an Upper Respiratory Clinic for current patients with a respiratory illness or a recent COVID-19 diagnosis.

What should I expect before my exam?

If you have Insurance, depending on the exam and your insurance plan, your exam may require insurance authorization prior to your exam. If you have questions regarding the authorization of your exam, please contact your insurance carrier or Frederick Health Financial Counseling at 240-566-4214 .

What should I expect the day of the exam?

Upon your arrival to an Frederick Health Imaging facility you will be registered for your exam. The Frederick Health Registrar will ask to make a copy of your valid ID and insurance card (if applicable) and exam order. Please be prepared to pay any co-pays or deductibles the day of your service.

What should I expect after my exam?

You will likely receive 2 bills for your imaging exam; one from Frederick Health for your exam and another for interpreting your exam from Radiology Associates of Frederick. To speak with a representative of Radiology Associates of Frederick, please call 844-279-5009

When will my doctor receive the report of my imaging exam?

Before your physician or healthcare provider receives the report of your exam, each imaging exam is read by a board-certified radiologist.

How can I obtain a copy of the report or images of the exam?

You are entitled to a copy of your medical records including imaging reports and a copy of the images of your imaging exam.

Frederick Health Patient Portal

Be sure to sign up for the Frederick Health Patient Portal when you register for your exam. Within the portal, you can view and print your Imaging reports.

Copies of Imaging Exams and Reports

For your convenience, we can place your imaging exam and associated report on a CD or DVD at no cost to you. Please call 240-566-3420 option 4 to arrange pick-up at either Rosehill or Crestwood.

Parking

Designated parking spots are available in all surface parking lots, and inside of the parking garage. Accessible parking is located on every floor of the garage near the patient and visitor elevator tower.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are located at each entrance for your use while on hospital property. If you need help finding a wheelchair or safely moving from your vehicle to a wheelchair, please ask the parking attendant on duty, who will call for someone who can assist you.

Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Services

RID Certified Sign Language interpreters are provided upon request. When possible, make your request in advance by calling Scheduling ( 240-566-3400) to make your medical appointment. Otherwise, notify your nurse at any time throughout your admission. Interpreting Services can be reached at 240-566-4351 to request an interpreter.

Service animals are welcome at Frederick Health Hospital.

Processing Fees

  • There is no fee for x-ray or imaging studies for follow-up treatment with your physician. However, there may be a fee for non-treatment related requests as permitted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, Health General, §4-304(c)(3)(ii), and the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA).
