What is the patient portal and how does it work?

The patient portal is a secure way for you to access your health information online. It is a great way for you to actively participate in your medical care. You can: Manage your and your child's health information online. Currently, ages 12-17 are not eligible for portal access. Send a message to your doctor.

What is the southeast iowa regional medical center patient portal?

The Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center patient portal is a secure website that gives patients convenient 24-hour access to their personal health information. Using a secure username and password, patients also can communicate with their health care providers.

Medical emergencies and urgent health matters

The patient portal is for routine management of your health care. If you are having a medical emergency, please call 911 or your health care provider's office immediately.

If you provided your email address to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center or Great River Health during patient registration, you may self-enroll for our patient portal by visiting https://bit.ly/PortalEnroll .

Why isn't all my health information on the portal?

Detailed medical records are too large for the portal. To get specific information from your medical records, as your provider or our Health Information Management team. Mental health records aren't available through the portal.

Why can't I see all of my child's health information on the portal?

To be compliant with Iowa law, proxy access to minors between the ages of 12 and 18 is limited to allergies, immunizations, appointments and scheduling. All other patient information can be obtained through our Health Information Department.

Payment Method

At Grand River Medical Group we accept payment for services by cash, personal check, cashier’s check, money order, credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Do not send cash in the mail.

Financial Assistance

If you cannot pay your balance in full call Patient Financial Services (563) 589-4048, to discuss payment plan options.

Insurance Payment Information

Not sure if Grand River Medical Group is in your network? Before scheduling your appointment you should contact your insurance company. Call the member services number on the back of your card or visit their website. Insurance benefits vary by plan and carrier. We participate with most local and many national insurance plans.

Self-Pay Information

Don't have insurance? We offer self-pay services. Sometimes you are not eligible for insurance through your employer or are between jobs and do not have any insurance but still need to be seen. This is why we offer self-pay services at our clinic.

Two Ways to Create Your MyHealthHome Account

Enrollment Invitation – Grandview Medical Center will send an email to the email address you provided upon registration to the hospital. Follow the instructions in that message to create your account.

Note to previous Portal Users

Previous Portal Users will need to create an account with MyHealthHome in order to continue accessing their personal health information. Information contained in the previous patient portal can still be accessed by contacting your local hospital. Click here for information on how to do that.
