Preparing for Your Procedure or Surgery

First, don't worry. If you're scheduled for an elective surgery (a surgery that's not an emergency,) you'll be contacted by customer advance services and Pre-admission testing to get pre-registered and to discuss any special instructions that you'll need to know for the procedure.

If you need a patient representative, you can call 708-915-5112. Patient representatives are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

How long does it take for a lab to be released on MyChart?

Most test results such as labs, radiology and pathology will be released to MyChart within 7 business days of receipt by your provider as well as historical results since 2013.

Do you need a signature for MyChart?

Adult to Adult MyChart access does need a signature from both the patient and proxy. You are not able to ask questions on MyChart about another person’s information. This is because that information would then be in your health record and not in the correct health record of the other person.
