What is the patient portal and how do I use it?

The patient portal is a personal health information site, hosted by NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, through Cerner Health, which lets you make secure connections with health providers at NYP Brooklyn Methodist and manage your own personal health information.

How do I sign up for mynyp HVH?

Signing up for MyNYP HVH is easy and secure. Patients who are admitted or come in for a procedure will be signed up for the portal and sent an email inviting them to create an account. Once an account is created, patients are brought to the MyNYP HVH home page for access to records and other information.

How do I contact the patient portal technical support team?

If you require assistance, please contact the patient portal technical support and customer service team at 877-621-8014, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Welcome to your Patient Portal

Pre-Arrival COVID-19 Screening

Before you leave home for an on-site visit to any NYP location, please complete a brief symptom assessment using the NYP COVID Visitor Pass app. Access COVID Visitor Pass through the NYP Connect app, which is available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Checking in Before You Arrive

In all of our locations, we will have a streamlined check-in process. Before you arrive, forms and co-pays can be processed remotely. Where possible, you will skip the front desk, avoid unnecessary time in the waiting room and proceed directly to the exam room.

Screening at Welcome Station

Upon arrival, patients will be provided with a mask. In addition to pre-screening for COVID-19 symptoms before you arrive, you will be screened upon your arrival.

Staff and Patient Protection

Our care teams follow CDC guidelines, have the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and wear it at all times. We have also established screening and testing protocols for our care teams.

Disinfection and Cleaning

Our locations are repeatedly and thoroughly sanitized throughout each day. Exam rooms are cleaned extensively between patient visits.

Visitors

For your safety, and the safety of our patients and staff, there are limitations on visitors. We will continue to follow the NYS Department of Health guidelines. View our visitor policy.

Visitor Policy Change due to 2019 Novel Coronavirus

In response to the evolving COVID-19 outbreak and in line with our revised Visitation Guidelines, only select entrances will be open at each Hospital throughout the NewYork-Presbyterian system. All other entrances will be closed and inaccessible to patients, visitors, and staff.

What is NYP medical?

NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) medical groups are part of the physician enterprise of NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic healthcare systems affiliated with two world-renowned medical schools — Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and Weill Cornell Medicine. Many NYP medical group physicians are also on the faculty at these schools. NewYork-Presbyterian is consistently recognized as a leader in innovative patient care and groundbreaking research.

Where do NYP physicians practice?

Our NYP medical group physicians practice in Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester County, and other parts of the Hudson Valley. In addition to being professors at the medical colleges, many of our physicians also practice at our NYP hospitals in your community. These include NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and NewYork-Presbyterian Queens — which both rank as leading regional hospitals, according to U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Hospitals” Survey — as well as the prestigious NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital and NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, both located in Westchester.
