After your visit, Oregon Medical Group will bill your insurance carrier on your behalf. In order to do this, we will need a copy of your insurance card with complete and accurate information about your health plan. We will also need your full name, address, phone number, date of birth and insurance identification number.
If your appointment is scheduled three to nine (3 to 9) days from the date of a request for an appointment with us, Oregon Medical Group will provide a written good faith estimate of expected charges prior to the services. You should expect to receive a letter sent via first class mail or a printable estimate through your Patient Portal.
Our former patient portal in still available, so you can get to your health information and pay your bills. The current portal will only have information and bills for services that took place before February 1, 2022.

Because our labs are dedicated to OMG patients, results are very fast , and your physician is able to easily discuss results with a lab specialist. All OMG clinics have on-site labs.
Please contact your provider to get copies of your lab results. You may also request copies of your lab results by completing the patient requesting results from lab form. Bring the completed form to the lab with identification. Please note that Oregon law requires the lab to wait 7 days from the time we receive your request before sending a written copy.
Fasting means nothing to eat or drink except water for 8-12 hours. This includes lozenges, hard candy, gum and all other beverages.

Having on-site labs and associated professionals helps us take care of you without requiring you to make an extra stop. Because our labs are dedicated to OMG patients, results are very fast, and your physician is able to easily discuss results with a lab specialist. All OMG clinics have on-site labs.
However, some clinics prefer you to schedule an appointment in advance. The few tests that do require an appointment are 2 and 3 hour Glucose Tolerance tests.
We are not accepting walk-ins at all OMG clinics.
The balance remaining after your insurance has paid results from any unpaid copayments, coinsurance, or unmet deductibles according to your benefit plan with your health insurance carrier. Please contact your health insurance carrier directly if you have questions about the health services that your insurance plan may or may not cover, or about any amount that they have applied to your patient responsibility.

If any part of the balance becomes delinquent, then the account balance may be forwarded to an outside agency for collection. Please note that the timeline for insurance processing varies by the insurance company. You may not immediately receive a bill because of that.

Payment for your visit and services is due at the time of service, including co-payments, co-insurance, and unmet deductibles. If we are unable to provide you with the total for the portion of the visit that is not covered and that you must pay “out of pocket,” OMG will bill you. Your payment is due in full when you receive the statement. There are several ways to pay:
Your OMG provider may have ordered medical services from another medical facility . The group completing the testing will bill you and your insurance separately from Oregon Medical Group. Examples of items or procedures that you may receive a separate bill for include surgery, anesthesia, labs, hospital or surgery center, and any durable medical equipment (braces, crutches, etc.) If you have questions about the billing from non-OMG medical facilities, please contact that provider using the information on the statement you received.
