What is routine gynecological exam?

Regular, routine gynecological exams can assure your continued reproductive health and are your best bet for prevention or early diagnosis of cancer or other conditions. Exams typically include an evaluation of your current health, breast exam, and pelvic exam.

What is OB care?

Our OB team provides the care and support you need throughout your pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period, including care for patients with high-risk pregnancies . To help ensure a rewarding birth experience and smoother transition to motherhood, our mother/baby education programs cover topics ranging from prenatal yoga to childbirth preparation to breastfeeding to infant care.

Who delivers babies in postpartum?

For prenatal and postpartum care, you choose the physician or nurse midwife you're most comfortable with. If you have a routine labor and vaginal delivery, most likely a midwife will deliver your baby. OB/GYN physicians are always available. They also handle all higher-risk deliveries.
