With a patient portal, you can:
Access Patient Portal. Click Settings > Patient Portal . The Patient Portal Dashboard page launches in a web browser. An alternate way to access the Patient Portal is to: Open a web browser and type portal.kareo.com in the address bar. Click For Doctors on the bottom. The Patient Portal landing page opens. Click Sign in on the upper right.
The Student Health Center has consolidated clinical staffing to Monday- Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm. Tuesday evening extended hours during fall and spring semesters are 7:30am - 7:30pm. We will be accepting appointments for asymptomatic patients who need immunizations, titers, labs and QuantiFERON-TB Gold blood tests. We are not accepting walk-ins at the present time. We encourange you to use virtual visit options when we are closed or if you have cold or flu symptoms.
All University of Utah students, their spouses, and dependents are eligible for care at the Student Health Center.
The Student Health Center carries the Moderna COVID vaccine.
The University of Utah and ASUU strongly encourage all students to have health insurance and offer the Student Health Insurance plan through United Healthcare Student Resources. Appointments can be made by logging into the Patient Portal. If you have the university Student Health Insurance Plan, you have access to a 24/7 nurse line and telehealth appointments by calling 800-581-0368 . Virtual Health appointments are available to policyholders at no cost.
The Student Health Center (SHC) provides primary and preventative care to currently enrolled students who have paid the medical services fee along with their tuition.

Mental Health Service - Call 225-578-8774. Mental health support through teletherapy sessions to discuss current concerns, coping strategies to address those concerns, and when appropriate to connect students with other local resources to address their needs. When appropriate, priority visits are available onsite.

The LSU Student Health Center is open and committed to meeting the health and wellness needs of students with telehealth visits in the Medical Clinic, Mental Health Service, and Wellness and Health Promotion. In addition, onsite Medical Clinic visits are available, by appointment only and onsite priority visits are available in Mental Health Service and Wellness and Health Promotion.
On the Daily Health Self-check, individuals answering any question in the affirmative will be prompted to stay at home and complete the online Self-isolation Form. Submission of the Self-isolation Form prompts multiple actions from Facility Services and the Contact Tracing Team, as well as University Housing or the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life for those residing in on-campus housing.
All other appointments must scheduled by calling the Telephone Triage Nurse at 865-974-5080. Drop-in or walk-in assessments are not permitted at this time. In order to use TRICARE Prime at the Student Health Center you must have proper authorization.
To upload your insurance: Log into your patient portal. Click the third tab labeled "Insurance". Click the blue tab labeled "Add New". Fill in the required fields: Insurance Company. Policy Number. Group Number. Scroll down and click the blue tab labeled "A dd".
You must activate your SHSU email before you can log in. SHSU requires to submit all medical information through our Patient Portal. Our Patient Portal allows you to upload documents from your smartphone.
