How to use your patient portal?
Download the free 'MEDITECH MHealth' app from the Apple Store or Google Play (depending on your device).
Once it has downloaded, open the app. ...
Click on the app again, and then select 'Connected Care Patient Portal.'
Enter your login ID and password
From the app home screen you will now be able to access your health information.

Who uses the patient internet portal?
Background: Patient portals offer patients access to their medical information and tools to communicate with health care providers. It has been shown that patient portals have the potential to positively impact health outcomes and efficiency of health care.
How to find your report on the patient portal?
Your doctor's names and phone numbers
Allergies, including drug allergies
Your medications, including dosages
List and dates of illnesses and surgeries
Chronic health problems, such as high blood pressure
Living will or advance directives

Hourly Rounding
An important part of providing you with Excellent care and service is hourly rounding. You will be visited by one of your caregivers every hour from 6am - 10pm and every 2 hours from 10pm - 6am.
Patient Meals
Patient's meals' are served at 8:00 am, 12:00 noon and 5:00 pm. It is our goal to serve attractive, well-prepared meals that satisfy your nutritive, therapeutic and cultural needs. We want you to feel free to express your preferences and dislikes.
Telephone
To reach a local number from your room, dial the 10-digit number. To call toll-free long distance (calling cards, etc.): dial 1, then 10-digit number. To make other long distance calls: dial 0 for Operator instructions.
Television
All televisions are remote control sets. The remote control, speaker, and nurse's call system are combined into one unit. The person assisting you to your room during admission will explain how to operate these units.
Smoking Policy
Union General Hospital and Chatuge Regional Hospital are tobacco-free facilities. The use of any and all tobacco products, to include smokeless tobacco in any form, is prohibited for patients, visitors, employees, and guests anywhere within our facilities or on the grounds.
Personal Valuables
We maintain a vault for the safekeeping of money and other valuables during your stay. We encourage you to use this service.
Business Office
When you arrive at UCGH for any service, our friendly business office staff will verify insurance, current medical and billing information along with emergency contact information as part of the registration process. We will make sure insurance is in order and we will check for any pre-authorizations. UCGH accepts most insurance plans.
Medical Test Results
Please make a follow-up appointment with your doctor to go over all lab, radiology, and any other test results that your doctor may have ordered.
Reminders
If you are a no show 3 times in a 3 month time period you will have to make same day appointments.
Payment Arrangements
The business office takes care of filing insurance claims for patients. Each patient will receive a statement of services from UCGH when there is a balance due. Sometimes, pathologists, radiologists and other providers we work with will send a separate bill for that service.
