How do you set up a patient portal?

With My Seton Health, you have access to:

• A Summary of treatment during your hospital stay
• A list of active medications
• Your hospital discharge instructions
• Lab and vital sign results

How do you log into athenahealth?

link at the bottom of your screen and enter the email address you normally use to log in. You’ll be sent a link at that email address that you can use to reset your password. To learn more about the password reset process, please see the section on “Resetting your password”.

Do you have a patient portal?

Yes we have a patient portal. You can schedule appointments, access lab results, request refills, view medical records, and send messages directly to your provider. You can learn more here.

How to get into my athenahealth account?

• Allows users (patients) to review open balances and pay them via credit card
• Patient-facing app/website that allows users (patients) to review open balances and/or claims
• Client has a third-party (non-Credit Card Plus) solution that processes payments outside athenaNet

What to Bring

Please only pack personal items that you will need during your hospital stay, like a robe or reading material. It’s also helpful for your caregivers to have a complete list of medications you’re taking.

Every patient of the Adena Health System has the right to expect safe, high quality care at all times. To provide the safest care possible, we must work together as a team.

Food and Nutrition

Good nutrition is the cornerstone to maintaining good health and recovering from illness. Your diet depends on your medical condition and may change throughout your stay from a regular heart healthy diet to meals meant to control blood sugar for diabetics.

Outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy

If you need advice on how to best manage your diet for diabetes, cardiac disease, eating disorder, renal disease, cancer, malnutrition or sports nutrition, Adena can provide nutrition therapy. To schedule an appointment for nutrition therapy, call 740-779-7711.

Mail Services

Incoming mail for our patients is delivered daily. If you are discharged and receive mail, we will forward to your home address. If you want to send mail during your stay, our staff can place stamped mail in our mailroom. Books of stamps or singles are available in the gift shop.

Interpreter Services

If you have limited ability in speaking English, Adena can provide interpretive services. Our interpreters can provide communication with health care providers through most foreign languages and American sign language. If these services are needed, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

Chapel and Pastoral Care

Our hospitals have a chapel and offer pastoral care. Caregivers at each location can help patients request a visit from the hospital chaplain.
