Northwest Health provides a Patient Portal help you be informed about your care and what you need to do to stay healthy. The Patient Portal is a secure, online home for your inpatient hospital health information.

How does Northwest Health-Porter pre-register patients for tests?

After the patient receives an order from their physician it will be sent electronically to Northwest Health - Porter (no paper orders). The patient then calls (219) 983-8399 to pre-register and schedule a time for the test. Patients should not come to the hospital without first calling this number and scheduling a test time.

How old do you have to be to visit a hospital?

Visiting Hours: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Inpatient visitors: Go directly to the patient room. All visitors must be 18 years of age or older and will be screened upon entry.

Two Ways to Create Your MyHealthHome Account

Enrollment Invitation – Northwest Health will send an email to the email address you provided upon registration to the hospital. Follow the instructions in that message to create your account.
