The data entered into the Patient Portal is private. When needed, the system is securely maintained by industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) encryption and decryption technology, preventing others from accessing your personal information. I am having problems logging in.

Student Health is staffed by dedicated doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses who provide diagnosis and treatment of illness and minor injuries and health and wellness counseling for all enrolled students. There is no charge to be seen by a healthcare provider.
Student Health Services is responsible for collecting and maintaining students’ immunization records. Required Immunizations. Tuberculosis: Tuberculosis (TB) screening is required for all students. If TB testing is needed it must be completed within 3 months of the first day of classes for the semester.
Once records are submitted and a student has received a secure message in the patient portal indicating a missing immunization, students can call the Immunization Office at 703-993-2135 to schedule an appointment for needed immunizations.

All newly admitted or newly readmitted students are required to submit the Mason Immunization Record Form. Students born after December 31, 1956, must provide documented proof that they have been immunized against certain communicable diseases. Students born before December 31, 1956 are only required to complete the Tuberculosis screening section on the Immunization Record Form.
George Mason University offers a student health insurance plan which is available to eligible undergraduate and graduate students who would like to purchase health insurance. F-1 and J-1 Visa students are automatically enrolled in the Mason health insurance plan under University Policy #6002. A dental insurance plan is available for purchase for all eligible students. Anyone with COVID symptoms should be tested, whether you’ve been vaccinated or not.
To help track the virus spreading via carriers who display no symptoms, Mason will randomly select members of the community to be tested.
Mason is notifying classes, work areas, registered student organizations, and internal event participants via email of positive cases that are reported in these settings.
If you are notified by the Health Department that you are a close contact, Mason COVID Health Check will provide instructions regarding where and how to schedule a COVID test on or off campus. Vaccinated students, faculty, and staff who are identified as close contacts can be tested at Mason’s testing sites.
Mason is offering free COVID testing for asymptomatic students, faculty, and staff who are concerned about a possible exposure on campus.
International students, domestic students, and Mason employees who have traveled internationally and have not received an approved CDC or World Health Organization (WHO) vaccine must quarantine upon arrival in the U.S. and have a COVID test within three to five days after arriving in the United States.
