Is cosmetic dermatology covered by insurance?

Cosmetic dermatology procedures are typically deemed not medically necessary by insurance carriers, and are not likely to be covered. Our staff will assist you in determining which services are covered.

Is dermatology a specialty?

Dermatology is classified as a specialty service by your health insurance, and may result in a higher co-payment. The Derm Group requires that the co-payment be paid at the time of service.
