The UPMC Western Maryland Patient Portal Services are not for use in medical emergencies or urgent situations. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or 911 immediately.
From a desktop computer, to request access to another account, log into MyChart and then select the “Request access to another account (proxy)” link under Quick Links located on the right side of the page. Follow the instructions.
Typically, the fee will be charged to your credit card the night following your completed e-Visit. If your e-Visit is canceled, you will not be charged. Most insurance companies do not cover the cost of an e-Visit. For this reason, UW Health does not file an e-Visit insurance claim on your behalf.
Parents and legal guardians can use MyChart to manage their child’s (or children’s) medical care through proxy access, but there are some things to be aware of depending on the child’s age.
