For Children 12 to 17 Years of Age: Parents and legal guardians are given limited access to their child's MyChart account. A week before the child's 18th birthday, you will get an email letting you know that access will end the day before your child's birthday.

Do you need a signature for MyChart?

Adult to Adult MyChart access does need a signature from both the patient and proxy. You are not able to ask questions on MyChart about another person’s information. This is because that information would then be in your health record and not in the correct health record of the other person.
