What tests are done at a prenatal lab?

Also, there will be a series of prenatal labs that will test your blood type and blood count for infections (syphilis, Hepatitis B, HIV and Rubella). All the results will be reviewed with you at your next visit.

Where is Gwinnett Medical Center?

We do all of our deliveries at Gwinnett Medical Center, located at 1000 Medical Center Boulevard, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. If you feel like you are in labor, please call the office number, day or night, to notify the on call doctor prior to arriving to the hospital at 770-979-4700.

When do prenatal visits start?

Prenatal care visits normally start at around 8-12 weeks gestation. To help with the flow of your first appointment, please download, print and complete the new patient OB forms and bring them to your first appointment along with your insurance card and a photo ID.
